The Postgraduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (PPG EnCiMat) at FZEA/USP began its master's degree course in February 2013 and its doctorate in August 2013, with the following areas of concentration: Development, characterization and application of materials for agroindustry. 

In these 10 years of existence, 56 masters and 34 doctors have been awarded by PPG EnCiMat.

The EnCiMat Graduate Program boasts a highly qualified faculty and technical staff, laboratories covering a wide range of specialties equipped to rigorous quality standards, and a  library  serving the entire campus. The range of courses offered encompasses both the areas of concentration and related fields, all geared toward training and informing professionals pursuing scientific research and academic careers.
