The Automotive Engineering Graduate Program aims to develop human resources at graduate level, in the knowledge area of Automotive Engineering. The Professional Master course in Automotive Engineering from the Polytechnic School of USP, released in 2000, was the first graduate course in automotive engineering in Brazil.
The goal is to prepare professionals in the automotive sector to lead evolution and technological transformation processes, and provide immediate feedback to the company, as the graduate student presents, in his thesis completion, the solution of a problem existing at his company.
The course gives degree and identical privileges to the Academic Master, including the exercise of teaching. As a result, from 2000 to 2010, 194 professionals have received a Master's degree from the Polytechnic School of USP. Proposals for Academic Master and Doctorate new courses are being drawn up for this Program.
